Visitors are greeted by a stunning display showcasing unique animals native to Armenia, highlighting the country's rich biodiversity. The zoo is divided into specialized departments including predators, birds, ungulates, primates, and features an innovative aquaterrarium.
Located on 28 hectares, the Zoological Park of Yerevan is home to over 1200 animals and birds from around the world. Originally established in 1940, it has since become a beloved destination for residents of Yerevan and visitors alike. As of July 2022, the zoo's collection boasts 126 species and 707 individual animals.
